Millions of people around the world agree that the IPL has reached an exciting peak in its history. The BCCI finally came up with an announcement regarding Phase II of IPL 2026. And the people have been feeling anxious as the BCCI has just now released details about a full schedule of 50 matches planned for Phase II of IPL 2026 that are going to take place from April 13 through May 24, 2026.
The second leg gets underway on April 13 with a bang, where Sunrisers Hyderabad faces off against Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. This game promises fireworks and should light a fire under the rest of the league stage. From here on out, every run and wicket carries serious playoff consequences.
IPL 2026 venues
In a move to spread the excitement of IPL throughout India, BCCI has chosen 12 historic locations for match hosting. The beautiful snowy mountains of Dharamshala and the lively cheering of the crowd in Chennai will be just two of the many places where the tournament festivities will be experienced nationwide.
Principal Locations: Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamshala, Raipur, and New Chandigarh.
To preserve local passion, teams are geographically assigned to use home grounds for their games. The Punjab Kings will have two home fields: one in New Chandigarh and the other in Dharamsala; these regions will allow them to share their home field advantage.
The Rajasthan Royals will turn Jaipur into a pink-colored fort with four key games. Also, fans of the Royal Challengers will be able to watch their players play three games at the Chinnaswamy and two games at their new home field in Raipur.
